I am so grateful for this experience I had, and I have grown to appreciate the value of APPE rotations. In my mind, I am currently in the midst of the most important year of pharmacy school, and I hope I have many more experiences this year that teach me new things about myself

Some are still stubbornly stuck to their branches, while many are in large, endless piles of fun created by my children (who are finally big enough to rake by themselves!). My current APPE rotation – an ambulatory oncology clinic – fits perfectly into this transitional season, where it seems like my heart is warmed and broken every day, and the medicine ranges from the amazingly advanced to the alarmingly primitive

P4 year is full of transitions. We start to prepare to become pharmacists and decide where we would like to have a career whether as a resident, fellow, or staff pharmacist. We move away from didactic lectures and have increased clinical experiences from which to draw knowledge. And within ASHP...
First, if you’re at all considering doing the APPE rotation at ASHP I would whole heartedly recommend it!
